Ocean Beach-Daly City-South SF Heights

Fairly sunny ride along Ocean Beach. Turned left into Daly City after the Skyline Drive fog and high speed traffic became to much. Founds some interesting spots along the way including the Sherman Stern Grove Park which seems quiet and hidden.

San Francisco to Russian River Valley

Riding partner Arthur and I left cloudy SF yesterday morning with our Sonoma destination on the distant horizon. High cloud cover and no fog made for a pleasant ride over the bridge and the shady Marin offered picturesque wooded riding through San Anselmo. Middle portion of the trip along Tomales Bay featured copious rolling hills and cooling 5mph head wind.

Around Lake Sebago

I come to my in-laws camp on Lake Sebago every summer. Starting last year, I rent a bike for the week. I did this ride a bunch last year.

North City Tour

Kjell, A Geek and I headed out for a ride today. I do this route alot. Good fun.

San Francisco to Santa Rosa

I've thought that doing a ride from SF to wine country would be nice. I made the one way trip this past sunday. Not really a nice ride.

The Long Way to the Mall

Me and the rest of the boys headed down to Capitola on Saturday to surf some easy, small southern-hemi swell. The girls met us mid-peninsula on the way home at a friend's house for an afternoon pool party. After much swimming, volleyball, and dancing till the sun went down, we headed back to San Fran.

Napa Valley Tour

On Sunday I rode the Napa Valley Tour, a hundred mile bike ride though one of the world's great wine regions. Like a kid on Christmas morning, I was up before dawn and raring to go. The day started foggy and cool in the mid 50's.

The Sisters Kick My A**

Mark does triathlons. I'm not sure what I was thinking going for a ride with him. I started peddling at about 7:30am, crossed the Golden Gate Bridge, cruised through Sausalito to Mill Valley and waited a couple minutes for Mark to show up at the Cantina in Mill Valley.

Back in the Saddle Again

After resting for two weeks, my knee was feeling strong on Saturday morning so I decided to head down to City Cycles to meet up for a group ride. I've done the Sunday relaxed ride, but the Saturday ride's pace is faster. In a big pack we headed out from the store to the Golden Gate bridge for the Point Reyes Station 80 mile loop via Nicasio.
